A Late Summers Lament
sigh...waiting for more
it's almost a chore
I miss our little Sadie
watching her grow from country girl
to cosmopolitan lady
Is she still slinging drinks
to tweaked up dinks
like that furry gorilla
that almost killed her
while the camera crew just watched him paw and grope at our little princess - defenseless - crying out for assistance
remembering that scene hearing her while she cried and screamed
oh how strong the urge is yet still as strong
to yank off that one eyebrow that stretches so long… Continue
